Have you seen flying termites, or are they flying ants? How can you tell the difference between flying ants and flying termites, and should you be concerned?

These higher humidity levels we have been experiencing over the last few weeks have seen the first major termite colonisation in multiple areas around most of Australia so expect to see more flying termites around the place (technically referred to as Alates).

Insects thrive in high humidity, which is why you’ll start to find more bothersome insect pests around as we lead into summer. Ants are a consistent menace, which can appear at any time of the year, but if you are seeing large amounts of flying ants around you home, it’s likely that an active termite colony is close by.

How can you tell the difference between a flying ant and flying termite?

While both flying termites and ants have four wings, termites have two large pairs of wings which are the same size. Winged ants have noticeably larger wings in the front than the pair in the back.

Termite wings are twice as long as their body. Ant wings are shorter and more proportionate to their bodies.

Termite antennae are more evenly curved, where ant antennae are kinked.

Ants appear distinctly segmented, because of their thin waist. Termites have a broad waist and are mostly a uniform width along their entire body.

Flying termites are often a dark honey colour, although this can be difficult to determine as the melanin in different termite species and environments is variable.

The main thing is, if you have concerns, it’s easier and less expensive to prevent a termite issue, than it is to have the heartache and expense of repairing termite damage.

You may have come across the term ‘Kill termites without poison’ if you’ve been looking on the internet for information on how to get rid of termites. There are two commonly used methods of treating active termites, one is with a chemical formulation (poison), and the other is with a bait matrix, which is considered no toxic to humans or domestic animals.

The bait matrix option is a product which can be mixed and applied to areas where termites are feeding. The bait matrix contains an ‘insect growth regulator’, which methodically kills off attacking termites. The insect growth regulator is not considered a poison because it causes no harmful effects to humans or domestic pets, yet is deadly to termites because, for lack of a better explanation, they become addicted to the product. The insect growth regulator in the bait matrix prevents the termites from moulting, systematically killing the nest.

This is how professionals kill termites without poison, which is why it can be suitable for use by the homeowner. The insect growth regulator (chlorfluazuron, hexaflumuron are both different types of insect growth regulators) is mixed into a palatable powder, which is mixed by the user into a paste and applied to live termites. The process can be tricky as there are different products of varying quality, and all have different mixing instructions to get the matrix just right.

Being a huge advocate for DIY termite treatments under the right conditions, Termicure has now adapted a professional bait matrix delivery kit so that you the homeowner can kill termites without poison, and without harm to family or pets.

Our live termite treatment kits include professional Termite Bait Matrix packs, combined with a specifically developed live termite treatment pouch which allows the homeowner to mix and apply the product in a simple and effective method.

Simply take one of our 100gram professional termite bait matrix packs, and empty it into our treatment pouch. Add 350ml of water and apply the pouch to the termite activity using the adhesive provided. The termites will feed on the bait within the pouch, and transfer the product through the colony without the need for poisons.

There are multiple other products available on the internet, by so called high quality DIY suppliers, but in most cases, these products are cheaply manufactured copies of good products, which simply don’t work. We ONLY supply high quality PROFESSIONAL termite products which are proven by the industry. We’ve developed a system for our clients to kill termites without poison, so that homeowners can have access to products which work.

As well as proven professional products, we will provide you with full support on how to manage your treatment, so that you can kill termites without poison, and without paying a fortune.

The professional termite management market determines what products are the best, and which ones simply don’t work.

At Termicure, we don’t attempt to re invent the wheel by producing new products in an attempt to revolutionise the termite management industry. Multinationals such as DowAgroScience, and Sherwood Chemicals spend Millions of dollars on developing products which provide Termite Professionals with the results required by the industry.

Unfortunately, most of the other DIY Termite Bait manufacturers (no names here) race off to China, and have a cheap termite baiting product produced, without the R & D required. In short, EVERY SINGLE DIY TERMITE BAIT product we tested, simply wasn’t consumed by attacking termites. What this means is that if Termites won’t take the bait, then the colony will continue feeding and spreading, and the homeowner is wasting their time and money.

At Termicure, we simply take existing products, and develop a system which simplifies the processes to make it suitable for the homeowner to successfully protect or eradicate termites from their property. WE ONLY USE COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE, PROFESSIONALLY TESTED AND PROVEN PRODUCTS. That’s right, all of the bait products we sell to you, are used in vast quantities by the Professional Termite Industry.

The Sentricon ‘Always Active’ Rods which we have integrated into our Termicure ‘Active’ Packs are an extremely effective and commercially proven beyond any doubt. The Sentricon ‘Always Active’ Termiticide Rods changed the industry, and dramatically increased the success of termite baiting in Australia. That’s why we’ve integrated the ‘Always Active’ Rods into our ingrained station packs.

Termatrix Termite Bait is also a high end Termite Bait Matrix used by Thousands of termite professionals every day. We’ve integrated them into our Live Termite Treatment Packs and simply changed the delivery method to allow for easy mixing and application in small volumes. In most cases, Termite Professionals are mixing bait matrix in larger quantities which are not practical for the homeowner, so we just created a user friendly option for DIY Termite Baiting.

Both of these products are extremely successful and proven, throughout the professional termite industry. We’ve combined our bait stations and extensive experience to simplify the processes to enable successful termite baiting by the homeowner.

Our technical team carries multi state termite professional qualification, and is available to assist your needs in successful DIY Termite Treatment. if you would like to speak with our technical support team, call 1300 283 764 or email direct at info@termicure.com.au

This free guide will help you turn your old and useless termite baits into a termite colony killing machine, to help protect your home without having to fork out huge $$.

Most termite baiting systems end up as useless unsightly trip hazards once the annual fees of conventional termite baiting begin to stack up. Once installed, the monthly or annual servicing fee’s start to stack up, and the homeowner decides to manage the system themselves… Sound familiar?

Unfortunately, most termite baiting systems are neglected after a period of time, and they simply end up as useless lawn mowing obstructions or random useless garden ornaments. Well instead of letting the bait stations go to waste, why not re instate them with the latest Sentricon ‘Always Active’ Termiticide Rods, so that your home can be protected around the clock? The upgraded station will then be capable of eradicating entire termite colonies from the moment it’s recommissioned, protecting your property. We provide you with the knowledge and guidance to manage the system yourself, so you need have to pay for monitoring or maintenance fee’s again.

A conventional Exterra Termite Bait Station can be retrofitted with Termiticide Rods to turn them into an active Termite colony Killing machine.

The Sentricon ‘Always Active’ Rods replace the conventional timber inserts used in almost every other termite baiting system. Not only are they more palatable than timber (termites prefer to eat them), but they contain a toxin which kills entire termite colonies feeding on the rods. So instead of simply providing termites with a free feed of timber, and hopefully getting to them with a bait matrix before they disappear, the rods begin to poison the entire nest from the moment they are attacked.

Conventional Termite Baiting Systems such as Exterra and Nemisis can be easily upgraded. Simply clean out the materials previously used , (timber, cardboard, Poly etc.) along with any other debris such as dirt, leaf debris etc. and simply install the Sentricon ‘Always Active’ rod in its place. With the smaller stations such as Nemisis, the rods will need to be broken or cut in half to fit due to their limited depth. Simple enough.

There is no need to purchase new stations as long as the stations are in tact and the lids are able to be secured to the station itself. The satisfaction of recommissioning a system which you paid a fortune for to have installed will be worth the effort, and far more capable of killing termites than ever before. Even if you have lost a station, or are short, then you can easily and cheaply make your own station from basic materials found at Bunnings.

We have a guide on how to make your own termite bait stations if required.

Make your own termite baits, and the load them with the Always Active Termiticide Rods.

The Sentricon ‘Always Active’ rods for re instating old baiting systems can be purchased here, and will be dispatched usually on the same day via Express Courier or Australia Post (depending on location). As much as we’d love to sell you an entire system to replace the one you have neglected, we’d rather you make use of the money you’ve already spent.

Upgrade your existing termite bait stations and get that next level of termite protection.

Sentricon ‘Always Active’ Termiticide Rods, are the innovation in termite protection that homeowners thought they were getting all along…

Confusing termite baiting system contracts designed to make the homeowner believe that once their termite baiting or monitoring system was installed, they had something protecting their home from termites. Well now its a reality, and if you don’t have Sentricon ‘Always Active’ Rods installed in your current termite baiting/monitoring system, then you’re not making the most of your termite baiting system.

Conventional Style termite baiting systems do not provide protection, unless they are being serviced and monitored on a regular basis. Conventional termite baits can be effective if correctly tended to by an experienced professional, but otherwise, they can simply provide a food source for termites to come closer to your home.

The ‘Always Active’ Rods reduce the human error element, which causes more problems than the conventional baiting process on it’s own.

This quote courtesy of AEPMA, (Australian Environmental Pest Managers Association) says it all clearly in one short paragraph:

Newly registered, Sentricon AlwaysActive from Dow AgroSciences, delivers all the benefits of both a baiting system and a chemical barrier, with none of the drawbacks. Sentricon AlwaysActive controls termites from the day it’s installed and has actually been shown to eliminate multiple termite colonies before the Pest Manager has even detected them.

The Sentricon ‘Always Active’ Rods replace archaic timber attractant materials used to attract foraging termites into a bait station, for secondary feeding with the introduction of a poison by a Termite Professional once termites have been identified in a bait station. It’s a concept which seems to have been discounted until Sentricon’s recent innovation.

The ‘Always Active’ Rods have been found to be more palatable and attractive than timber, with the added bonus of containing Hexaflumuron to destroy feeding termite colonies without needing to add more materials. So not only are termites more likely to be attracted to the stations containing the rods, but they automatically begin feeding on the very product that will destroy them.

At Termicure, we tested and tested the Sentricon Always Active Rods to see whether they were more palatable and more attractive to termites, and we found that in each of our 10 trial sites, the Termicure Stations containing the Always Active Rods were the first infested, every time. In some cases, (3) termites didn’t infest any of the test stations however of the stations which were, the Sentricon Loaded Stations won hands down. We even used a variety of attractants from the biggest bait station manufacturers to encourage termites to the conventional baits. The Sentricon Always Active Rods need no additional attractants to come out on top.

Other manufacturers would have done clinical trials on the products, however no results have been made public that we could find, so I’m guessing the data has proven favourable to the Sentricon Rods.

In point form, the advantages of the Sentricon Rods over Conventional Termite Baits:

-Sentricon Always Active Rods can be retrofitted into most conventional termite Baiting Systems.

-The Always Active rods can kill termites colonies without any interaction from termite professional or homeowner.

-Always Active Rods attract termites faster than other conventional termite baiting materials.

-The Always Active Rods last up to 5 years unless depleted by termites.

-Always Active loaded termite baiting systems such as the Termicure Active product, require less maintenance than any of the conventional termite baiting systems.

-The use of the Sentricon Always Active Rods, deletes the need for a professional to feed a poison to termites in order to eradicate them. The poison is inbuilt in the Always Active Rods. Click here to purchase ‘Always Active’ rods.

Often, when people think of termite protection, they think of toxic chemicals, applied in massive amounts to their property.

While this may only be partially true, chemical soil treatments are coming under the scrutiny of environmentalists more and more. Large volumes of synthetic chemicals injected into the ground just sounds like an environmental disaster, and it does attract attention from the authorities.

When installed correctly, chemical soil treatments (known as chemical barriers) are an extremely reliable form of termite protection, however the concern with the chemical does bother many homeowners. Children, and pets play a huge role in what type of termite protection is installed to protect property from termites.

We don’t fully know what the long termite effects of these chemicals are within the environment because it’s difficult to test the full lifecycle all products.

Enter, Termite Baiting… Commonly known as the non toxic alternative, termite baiting has been hit and miss with multiple variables creating unreliable results. Incorrect bait station placement, incorrect baiting materials, poor quality bait matrix and heavy handed servicing can all contribute to unsuccessful termite baiting.

The Sentricon Always Active Rods have been a revolution in the termite baiting process, with simple placement and basic servicing being the only contact anyone needs to have with the actions. Once they are in, there is no need to mix and add any termite bait matrix, or interrupt the feeding cycle. The revolution is that the non toxic chemicals within the Always Active rods will begin to kill the termite colony as soon as it begins feeding.

Once the stations are installed, they are actively attracting termites with a lure and kill mode of action.

The Termicure ‘Active’ Packs, are a user friendly combination of effective termite bait stations and the Sentricon ‘Always Active’ Rods, packaged for simple installation and servicing by the homeowner. We provide full phone and email support to assist with any aspect of the termite baiting process, and with decades of commercial experience protecting property and eradicating termites, we make it possible for the homeowner to be as effective as a professional termite manager, while saving thousands.

So for anyone who wants the non toxic option for termite protection, give us a call on 1300 283 764, or email info@termicure.com.au

Don’t buy termite baits until you’ve read this simple explanation of what you are buying…and what you want to protect.

Most termite baits are made out of the same materials your home is built out of – Timber. In ground termite baits are commonly installed in the grounds around the exterior of your home, in an attempt to attract termites to the timber installed in the stations. If termites are located in the stations during regular checks, a poison is then applied to the station with the goal of eradicating an entire termite colony and lowering the risk of a termite attack.

Let’s highlight that process again… Your home is made from timber, so you place timber around your home, however most homes have a far larger food source of timber than any termite baiting system could ever hope to contain. It’s like owning a Gingerbread House, and sprinkling a jar of gingerbread crumbs around it to protect it from ordinary sugar ants…

This is only the first stage of the termite baiting process. So once you’ve, installed, serviced and checked your stations, and then identified termite activity in one or more of the stations, you then need to introduce a DIFFERENT product, in order to kill off the threat. Let’s look at the feeding and eradication process, using the Gingerbread House again as our example.

So you’ve used the Gingerbread crumbs, to attract ants to your house of Gingerbread, and you’ve finally hit the jackpot. Ant’s are chowing down on the crumbs you’ve expertly spread about the place. The ants are hooking in, so then you decide to throw some chemically laced crumbs in with the original crumbs, in the hope they’ll stop what they are feasting on, to feed on a something else containing a poison. While this concept has some success, it’s far from reliable, and with your home on the menu, I’d recommend you look for a proven alternative which is where the Termiticide Rods have changed the game in the professional termite world. This is why we recommend that you don’t buy Termite Baits until you have armed yourself with this knowledge.

Sentricon ‘Always Active’ Termiticide Rods are a termite bait, which have been infused with a colony killing toxin, called Hexaflumuron. The Termiciticide Rods are non toxic to humans or domestic pets, and has been formulated to MORE palatable than timber…So lets head back to our gingerbread house.

This time, instead of throwing gingerbread crumbs about the house to keep the ants out, we’ll use a toxic icing. The icing is far more attractive to the ants than the gingerbread, and from the moment the ants begin to feed on it, they become dependent on it. They become unable to consume anything else, and continues it’s addiction to the very product which will kill off the entire colony. There is no need to do the old ‘bait and switch’, and hope that they don’t notice. Feeding continues undisturbed until the entire colony has been eradicated.

This is how the Sentricon ‘Always Active’ Rods work, there’s less chance of upsetting the feeding termites with inferior bait matrix, human error or contamination, and there’s less interruption to the stations. The Termiticide Rods are already doing their job before you’ve identified the termites in the station. It’s faster, simpler and easier to manage as a homeowner and a professional, and more successful. For someone looking for the simplest and most reliable form of termite baiting, it’s the only real viable choice for DIY Termite Baits.

So don’t just google DIY ‘Termite Baits’, and order the first DIY Termite Baits you can find, look carefully at the products and whether or not they contain the Termiticide Rods, like the Termicure ‘Active’ packs.

If you have an existing baiting system installed at your home, then you may not have to go and buy an entire new baiting kit, as the Termitcide Rods can be retrifitted into many other systems such as Exterra, Termatrix and Nemisis.

So, don’t buy termite baits if you think you’re going to have a simple and cheap product to protect your home. Insist on spending a bit extra and getting the systems containing the termiticide rods…and keep your gingerbread house in one piece!

In this guide to the best DIY Termite Baits, I’m going to fall back to the products used in the field every day, by termite professionals.

Since the inception of termite baiting, there were many experiments and trials undertaken with multiple products. Many products were successful during trials and made it through to the mainstream termite baiting realm, while many worked during the trials, however commercialising the products successfully was an issue. Two of the most successful manufacturers in this space were Exterra, and Sentricon.

A conventional Exterra Termite Bait Station

Both of these manufacturers have been supplying quality termite baiting products commercially to thousands of termite professionals across Australia and the US. In Australia, Exterra owned the market with clever plans put together for the Operator to secure excellent ongoing income from clients, with monitoring plans and service contracts.

They successfully built a valuable market for termite specialists to charge top dollar, whilst retaining their customers long term. Their products were excellent, and their bait was very effective in eradicating termite colonies from the area.

Here is an over simplified explanation of the CONVENTIONAL TERMITE BAITING process…

So, we take a professional fishing boat floating on an ocean rife with piranhas who are trying to eat the boat. The professional fishermen might throw a stack of burleigh overboard in order to attract the piranhas. So now, we have a fishing boat surrounded with fish trying to attack the boat, feeding on burleigh…then comes stage two…catching the piranhas. So then the fishermen attach some bait to their professional fish hooks and expertly attempt to catch as many piranhas as possible, to stop them from eating the boat. This is a quick analogy of Conventional termite baiting…

Enter Sentricon, with it’s Australian release of the Sentricon ‘Always Active’ Rods back in around 2015…

The Sentricon Termiticide Rods known as ‘Always Active’ are a termite baiting product, which are installed into conventional termite bait stations. Unlike the traditional systems where timber is used to attract termites to the station and a bait matrix is added to the station in order to poison the termite colony, the ‘Always Active’ Rods are the bait, and the poison in one…

So back to the fishing boat…

So now our professional fishing boat is equipped with a special burleigh which has been laced with a product which is only toxic to piranhas… So the fishermen begin throwing burleigh overboard to attract as many piranhas as possible away from the boat. So instead of now having to try and catch the fish to stop them from attacking the boat, the piranhas simply eat a small amount of the burleigh and die off, leaving the boat untouched…

So this analogy describes the difference between the conventional Termite baiting approach. Each of the major DIY Termite Baits currently sold, utilise the conventional method which is quickly being phased out. Products such as Termikill, Envirobug, Green Baits, and Termite Ninja all rely on this conventional method of termite colony eradication. These conventional products are far cheaper than the Termicure ‘Active’ packs, containing the Termiticide Rods, but provide far less value for money.

When comparing DIY Termite Baits, may I suggest that you also seek a quote, or quotes from local termite professionals. This will give you a good benchmark for what you might be comfortable to pay in order to protect your home.

If you are happy to make your own bait stations to save a few bucks, then click this link to a practical guide to making your own DIY Termite Bait stations.

Discounted Termiticide Rods can be purchased here which can be used inside your DIY Termite Baits.

The simplicity involved in successfully protecting a structure with the Termiticide Rods is far superior than the conventional system which would be regularly botched by inexperienced or heavy handed professionals. Even the most experienced professional would fail in eradicating a termite colony from time to time, and this would often be as a result of human error.

So would it not seem silly to take a difficult process, frought with failure at the best of times, and place it in the hands of an inexperienced homeowner, to protect an investment?

There was a time when this was the only option, however now, the industry has termiticide rods to simplify the process for the professional, and make DIY termite baiting viable for the average homeowner.

This is exactly what Termicure has done… Take the best of the best products and provided the home/DIY industry with something which is truly viable in protecting their home from termites.

Professional Termite Baits-packaged and supported for DIY and homeowner use.

It’s a good scam by the manufacturers of DIY Termite Baits, but there is a good reason that most DIY Termite baits don’t work… They are simply not professional grade products, which are used in everyday termite management. Professionals don’t use DIY products, they use professional products such as Sentricon Always Active Termiticide Rods, which is why this is what we use and recommend in our professional termite baiting system.

There is a huge market for DIY in Australia. Bunnings has built a billion dollar empire based on the Do-It-Yourself concept which see’s every man and his dog renovating their homes themselves. Often, once the renovation has begun, the professionals are called in to rectify or complete most of the work as the homeowner realises that they either don’t have the time, knowledge or skill set to do the job properly.

Well this is the case with many DIY Termite Baiting projects, where the homeowner goes online and buys some fancy home termite bait kit, with special termite viewing windows and a bag of inferior bait… Disastrous, is a word used for this situation. These self proclaimed DIY Termite Bait kits mostly resemble a poor version of a professional product without any of the research and testing undertaken by the professional manufacturers.

Clever marketing and fancy ‘ebooks’ spruiked by some ‘Industry Leader’ are all too common hooks to get you to buy an inferior termite protection product, which is more likely to attract termites closer to your home to feed. These clever sales tactics would have you believe that baiting and eradicating feeding termites is a simple 1 step process, when in fact, it’s far from simple…and far from 1 step. Different termite species act and feed differently. Some are robust and can withstand a moderate level of disturbance without vacating a station, while others require only the slightest movement of their environment before they’ll run a mile from the termite bait you’re attempting to feed, and start chewing on your garage wall. It’s a minefield that you need to go into with all of the right information.

This DIY Termite baiting attempt resulted in the attacking termites consuming the timbers in the baits, then moving into the house before the homeowner even knew the station was active.

The Termicure ‘Active’ packs are a professional termite bait station, combined with the latest innovation by DowAgroScience, the Always Active Termiticide Rod.

Unlike every other DIY Termite Bait on the market, the installation of the Termicure ‘Active’ stations and rods will start to eradicate termites from the minute they begin feeding on the rods. The poison contained in the rods is the thing which attracts termites to feed, whilst providing them with a food source which the entire colony becomes dependent on, eventually taking the colony down. There is no clumsy amateur installation of termite bait, which will usually either contaminate the station, or simply scare the termites off to feast on another piece of framework located somewhere in your home.

DIY TERMITE BAITING IS A SCAM unless you are either extremely lucky, or you’re using the Sentricon Termiticide Rods.

Professional Termite Management Specialists still use conventional baiting methods, where a bait matrix is mixed and fed to active termes attacking a station. This process requires continual 2-3 weekly monitoring and adding more bait as the colony feeds. Wiping out a termite colony could take up to 12 months of feeding. In between all of this, there are many factors which could spook the feeding termites…causing them to run, and the process fails.

The beauty of the termiticide rods, is that there is nothing else which needs to be added to the station. Once a rod has been at least 50% consumed, you simply add another rod. By this point, the colony is unable to feed on any other food source, so they simply hook into the additional rod until colony destruction.

The Termite Management industry has managed to keep it’s professional products ‘exclusive’ to industry professionals, which means that almost ALL DIY Termite Baits won’t be supported by a termite professional, if you decide to seek professional help.

With multiple, DIY Termite Bait products available to the public for DIY, it’s difficult to determine which products are tried and tested in the professional space. Termite Ninja, Enviro Bug, Termite Mansion, Green Baits, along with our Termicure range are all marketed for DIY use, but how does the homeowner know which ones are a viable, high quality option when even the professional products have been known to have quality problems with termite bait, and obtaining excellent feeding properties for termite colony eradication.

CHINA produces many products sold on the cheap in Australia, including termite bait. Unfortunately, while produced at low cost, many simply don’t work, which is why the professionals only use certain products which are commercially available. DOW AgroScience is one of the most reputable research and development companies on the planet in the termite and insect management. Dow has developed the Sentricon ‘Always Active’ Termiticide Rods, which are combined with the Termicure ‘Active’ System, and used within it’s own Sentricon Termite Bait Stations. The ‘Always Active’ termiticide Rods have revolutionised the process of termite baiting, by removing the active feeding phase. The ‘Always Active’ Rods contain the materials to attract AND Kill the termite colony, without the intervention of a professional to mix and apply a suitable termite Bait Matrix.

Sentricon has a huge following of Termite Professionals who have trained to install and manage the product. It is only available from select chemical suppliers such as Globe and Garrards to licensed professionals to keep the product exclusive. Ironically, while the ‘Always Active’ Rods are only commercially available to termite professionals, they are the most suitable termite baiting product for the DIY Termite Bait arena.

The development of the ALL IN ONE termite attractant/kill has removed the mixing and application stage from the termite eradication process, and even without checking or correctly servicing an installed ‘Always Active’ System, termites colonies are still able to be completely wiped out.

So before you go ahead and purchase a DIY Termite Bait from a very well marketed, but low quality DIY Termite Bait manufacturer, consider whether the products used, or the termite bait matrix supplied is commercially available to the professional termite market.

Termicure uses only Sentricon ‘Always Active’ Termiticide Rods for termite eradication, because it is the only product which is capable of eradicating an active termite colony without the full evolution of termite identification, bait matrix mixing and continual feeding. Even professionals don’t succeed with colony eradication every time, with success rates as low as 50%. Human error, poor quality bait products and bait matrix contamination are all major factors which contribute to the failure. The ‘Always Active’ termiticide rods remove all of the risk factors associated with human error, resulting in a far higher success rate.

So do your research on the products available with all of the DIY Termite Bait products before you buy…

Our recommendation is that only the products available to the professional market are going to be the reliable and consistent option.

Termiticide Rods partially consumed by termites, eradicating the threat.

Sentricon has been in the termite baiting market for decades, and has an excellent track record. The Sentricon ‘Always Active’ rods have been a game changer. The Sentricon termite bait stations are restrictive in that they are only able to contain ONE termiticide rod.

An advantage of the Termicure Termite Bait Stations for DIY Termite Bait use, is the ability to multi load the stations. This can be helpful when feeding termites have been located in a station, and an additional rod can be added so that there is no chance that a full rod can be consumed and then termites vacate the station before termite colony destruction.

Termicure Sentricon Always Active Bulk Loaded

There are many termite DIY Termite Bait systems available, but surprisingly, there are far fewer professional systems available, as professionals know that the products MUST be of a high quality to achieve colony control.

So, don’t be sold on the best marketed DIY Termite Bait System…. do your research nd stick with a product which is backed by a professional product.
